Haiku 俳句 stammt aus der japanischen Tradition und gilt als die kürzeste Gedichtform der Welt. Unverzichtbarer Bestandteil sind Konkretheit und der Bezug auf die Gegenwart. rueckenlage macht sich mit einem persönlichen, audio-visuellen Zugang auf den Weg des aktiven Erlebens dieser offenen Texte.

„fLiegen“ (2010)
„fLiegen“ war die zweite Produktion von rueckenlage. Eine Flötistin und ein Percussionist heben musikalisch ab. Bewusst wurde auf ein Instrument, das einen harmonischen Boden geben würde, verzichtet. Wie fliegt es sich mit Altquerflöte und Rhythmus? Ein Fotograf steigt in die Höhe. Vogelperspektive. Der vertraute Boden erhält durch den Blick durch die Kamera eine neue Bedeutung. Wie kann beim liegenden Publikum ein schwebendes Gefühl erzeugt werden? Die musikalischen Improvisationen und Kompositionen der beiden Musiker Isabel Lerchmüller und Manuel Pasquinelli sowie die Bilder des Fotografen Martin Bichsel entwickelten sich durch gegenseitige Inspiration und kontinuierlichen Austausch. Bilder und Musik gingen der Idee des Fliegens nach, so dass daraus ein grosser 30minütiger Flug entstand. „fLiegen“ wurde von der Kulturförderung des Kantons Bern sowie der Stadt Bern unterstützt.
„Reisefluss“ (2009)
Inspiration für die erste Produktion „Reisefluss“ von rueckenlage wurde auf einer Reise durch den Balkan und die Türkei im Herbst 2008 geholt. Mit einem Aufnahmegerät wurden von der Musikerin Isabel Lerchmüller verschiedenste Sounds aufgenommen. Diese Sounds verwandelte sie dann mit Flötenimprovisationen zu neuen Kompositionen und verknüpfte das Ganze mit auf der Reise entstandenen Bildern des Fotografen Martin Bichsel. Das liegende Publikum kam in den Genuss einer halbstündigen Konzert-Bild-Schau. Die Begeisterung im Publikum war gross und Zusatzvorstellungen wurden organisiert. rueckenlage entschloss sich, weiter an dem Konzept des Liegekonzerts zu arbeiten und eine zweite Produktion zu kreieren. rueckenlage wurde zudem eingeladen, im Rahmen einer Sonderausstellung im Sensorium Rütihubelbad einen Ausschnitt aus „Reisefluss“ zu installieren.

Haiku 俳句 has its origins in Japanese tradition and is considered the world’s shortest lyric verse form. Essential haiku components are concreteness and a reference to the present. rueckenlage chooses a personal, audio-visual approach to allow for an active experience of these open texts.

„fLying” (2010)
“fLying” was the second production by rueckenlage. A flutist and a percussionist get ready for musical take-off. No instrument to prepare the harmonic ground. How do you fly using an alto flute and rhythm only? A photographer climbs up. Bird’s eye view. Trough the camera, our familiar footing receives a new meaning. How can you make the lying audience feel as if they were floating? The musical improvisations and compositions of Isabel Lerchmüller and Manuel Pasquinelli as well as the pictures of photographer Martin Bichsel emerged from mutual inspiration and continued exchange. Images and music followed the idea of flying, and a 30-minute flight was created. „fLying” was supported by the cultural promotion program of the Canton of Bern as well as the City of Bern.
„traveling flow” (2009)
Inspiration for „traveling flow“, the first production by rueckenlage, came from a trip through the Balkans and Turkey in autumn 2008. Musician Isabel Lerchmüller used a recording device to collect various sounds which she later merged with flute improvisations to create new compositions. These were combined with pictures that photographer Martin Bichsel had taken during the trip. The lying audience was treated to a half-hour Diaporama. The show was received enthusiastically and additional performances were organized. rueckenlage decided to further develop the concept of lying concerts and to come up with a second production. Furthermore, rueckenlage was invited to perform a selection from „traveling flow” in the framework of a special exhibition in the Sensorium Rütihubelbad.

Les composantes essentielles sont le caractère concret et la référence au présent. rueckenlage choisit un chemin personnel, audio-visuel pour entrer dans une expérience active de ces textes ouverts.

“fLiegen” (2010)
„fLiegen“ (fliegen=voler, liegen=être allongé) était la deuxième production de rueckenlage. Une flûtiste et un percussionniste s’ envolent musicalement. Pas d’instrument qui donne une base harmonique. Comment décolle-t-on vole avec flûte alto et rythme? Un photographe monte et grimpe. Vue aérienne. A travers l’ appareil photo le sol familier reçoit un nouveau sens. Comment peut-on créer chez le public allongé une sensation flottante? Les improvisations et les compositions des deux musiciens Isabel Lerchmüller et Manuel Pasquinelli ainsi que les images du photographe Martin Bichsel se sont développées par inspiration mutuelle et un échange permanent. Images et musique ont poursuivi l’idée de voler, et un grand vol de 30 minutes a été réalisé. „fLiegen“ a reçu le soutien des commissions culturelles du canton de Berne ainsi que de la ville de Berne.
„Reisefluss“ (2009)
L’inspiration pour la première production „Reisefluss“ (flux de voyage) de rueckenlage est venue pendant un voyage a travers les Balkans et la Turquie en automne 2008. Avec un enregistreur, la musicienne Isabel Lerchmüller a collectionné des sons et des bruits différents, qu’ elle a mis en relation avec des improvisations de flûte. Ces nouvelles compositions ont été combinées avec des images que le photographe Martin Bichsel a pris pendant le voyage. Les spectateurs allongés ont profité d’un concert audio-visuel d’une demi-heure. L’enthousiasme du public était si grand que des représentations supplémentaires ont été organisées. rueckenlage a décidé de continuer son travail de concept « concert allongés avec images » et de créer une deuxième production. Rueckenlage a également été invité à montrer une partie de son projet « Reisefluss » sous forme d’ installation durant une exposition dans le Sensorium Rütihubelbad.
